Hostess Pies, Twinkies, and other Evil, Evil Delights
As I sit here eating my Hostess apple pie for breakfast - don’t give me that look - I suddenly had an urge to visit the Hostess official website. And boy, am I glad that I did. Check it out:
- Hostess Cakes Recipes: No, this is not a collection of secret Hostess recipes; rather it’s a heart-stopping (heh heh) gallery of user-submitted recipes that somehow include various Hostess cakes such as Twinkies, Ho Ho’s, and Ding Dongs.
- World of Wackiness: A Twinkie wedding cake? You’ve got to be kidding me! I can’t…take…the…wackiness…
- Hostess Fruit Pies: Otherwise known as the Siren Who Calls My Name. Weirdly enough, the picture for the Hostess Fruit Pies does not match the ones in the store.
Wow. There’s also a really good Hostess FAQ that includes such questions as “Are Twinkies Baked?” and ” Can you freeze Hostess treats?” (the answer is yes). “Silly man..you cannot break a Twinkie!”
